Cervical Cancer is 100% Preventable
Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer affecting Indian women, yet it is almost entirely preventable. Because the transition from Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection to cervical precancer takes 10 to 15 years, regular routine screening enables timely detection and treatment years before cancer can ever develop.
Routine Screening Modalities at Our Clinic
- Liquid-Based Cytology (Pap Smear): A quick, gentle, painless in-clinic sample collection from the cervix to detect early abnormal cellular changes (dysplasia).
- High-Risk HPV DNA Testing: Molecular testing that detects high-risk oncogenic HPV strains (specifically types 16 and 18, responsible for >70% of cervical cancers).
- Co-Testing: Combining Pap smear + HPV DNA testing for women aged 30–65 for maximum diagnostic accuracy and reassurance.
HPV Vaccination: Gardasil 9
Dr. Honey Gemavat administers the international gold-standard Gardasil 9 HPV Vaccine, protecting against 9 distinct high-risk HPV strains:

- Genital Warts Protection: Shields against HPV 6 and 11.
- Recommended Age: Highly recommended for girls and women aged 9 to 26 years, and beneficial up to 45 years.
