Dr Honey Gemavat is a highly accomplished Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive qualifications and robust professional background. She earned her MBBS from the prestigious Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital in Mumbai. She has also completed an Advanced Diploma in ART and Reproductive Medicine at the University of Schleswig-Holstein, Kiel, Germany.

Thereafter, she worked as a physician at the reputed Hinduja Hospital thus refining her clinical skills and patient care.

Following this she secured an All India rank and pursued her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Government Medical College, Aurangabad which is a tertiary care hospital with a very busy Obstetrics & Gynaecology department with 18000 deliveries in a year. This tremendous expoure has made her proficient in handling a variety of complicated high risk cases. She further attained her DNB degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from National Board of Examinations, Delhi.

Her commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by her achievement of MRCOG qualification from the Royal College Of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, London. She has been an Assitant Professor in Obstetrrics and Gynecology at Sion Hospital, having trained budding gynecologists in labour management, deliveries and surgery.

Dr Gemavat’s clinical interests are varied and include advanced gynaecological surgeries, high-risk pregnancies, fertility treatments, PCOS, menstrual disorders and laparoscopic surgeries.

Her training and professional experience are comprehensive, encompassing various roles where she focused on managing high-risk pregnancies, performing open and laparoscopic surgeries, and research work. Notably, she undertook specialized training in laparoscopic techniques at Saidham Hospital & Test Tube Baby Centre and Ultrasonography at Chikitsa Diagnostic Centre.

Dr. Gemavat's contributions to medical research and education are notable. She has published research on interventions to reduce cesarean section rates and the role of anesthesia in enhanced recovery protocols for which she has recieved many prizes and awards. She has also contributed to academic literature on ‘Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation in pregnancy’.

With +7 years of experience of conducting more than 5000 deliveries and more than 1000 gynaecology surgeries she not only brings a wealth of knowledge but also a heartwarming commitment to always being available for her patients.
